Check In is between 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM (early check-in often available - just give us a call...) -- Check Out is 10:00 AMCancellation/Refund Policy (Excluding Bike-Week and Special Events): receive a refund if the cancellation is made at least 15 days prior to your scheduled arrival/check-in date. Please note that a $50 administrative/re-booking fee and any credit card fees incurred will be deducted from your refund. This policy is designed to offer flexibility while covering necessary processing costs. For assistance or questions, feel free to contact our customer support team.
Guaranteeing Your Reservation - A 50% deposit is requires for us to take the unit you have requested off the market and to guarantee (or lock-in) your reservation. For one night stays, full payment is required to reserve the night.
Additional Costs - Special rates may apply for one-night reservations on busy summer weekends (or holidays). Rates do not include 9% NH rooms tax. Rates do not cover special events such as Bike Week, NASCAR, Timberman, Winni Relay, & Soulfest. Please inquire for these rates. Cots available @ $25/night. Special cleaning fees will be charged for smoking in any unit. Guests are responsible for any damages they cause to the rooms/units.
Pets - Pets are welcome in E9, C16 & C17 with a pet charge of $25 per night/per pet and a $100 security deposit. (Security deposit returned at checkout upon unit inspection.) Pets may NOT be left alone or unattended on the 1848 property... If you leave the 1848, your pet must accompany you. All pets must be leashed and in control at all times.Guests are required to pick up after their pets and all cleaning related to pets.
Amenities and Conveniences
- Game Room – Enjoy the books (take a book / leave a book…), pool table, foosball table and board games… Game room hours are from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM (most days).
- Complimentary Coffee and Tea – Available in the office
- WiFi Internet Access – Password will be provided at check-in time.
- Pool – Pool hours are 9:30AM to dusk (sunset). If gate is locked then the pool is closed. (see rules at pool gate)
- Office – We have a selection of drinks, munchies, clothing and toiletries for sale in office. If office door is locked (or closed) please ring doorbell, if no answer from doorbell, call 603-366-4714
- Let Us Help – We are here to help you have a great time… If something in your room/unit is not working and/or wrong (no matter how small) please let us know right away. We can also help with directions or suggestions (and discount coupons) for activities, restaurants…
- Housekeeping – Our goal is to provide what you need without intruding on your privacy. Please help us to keep you comfortable by letting us know the type of service you need (towels, make beds, change beds, clean…) before you head off to have fun each day.
- Courtesy – Relax and have fun… and please also be considerate of other guests (many with young kids…) and be conscientious about loud noise/music/etc...
Safety
- Video Surveillance – For your safety, video surveillance cameras are in use and recording throughout the property…
- Please Use South Exit (towards the Weirs) – There is a dangerous blind-spot departing by the office onto Rt. 3 so please use south exit (dirt road) much better visibility/safety.
- Fireworks – Zero tolerance… you will be asked to leave the property immediately.
- Grilling / Fires – Please use charcoal grills that are provided for cooking only. No campfires. No flammable liquids (note, we sell match-light charcoal in the office).
Policies
- Check out time is 10:00 AM.
- Keys – Please return keys to office (or in the drop-box outside office door). $30.00 charge for any lost keys.
- Visitors – Please let us know if you would like to have a visitor on the property. Upon their arrival ALL VISITORS MUST CHECK IN AT OFFICE
- Smoking – Is permitted outside your cottage or room. However smoking is NOT allowed inside any unit or room (including the Game-Room). You will be charged a $250.00 cleaning fee if we detect you have been smoking in a room. Please use an ashtray outside your unit (let us know if you need an ashtray).
- Pets – We love pets… However, only if you are you are registered in one of our pet-friendly units E9, C16 & C17. Guests are required to pick up after their pets and all cleaning related to pets.
- Toilets - Please do not flush any personals items down toilets or you will cause an embarrassing clog/backup or flood. Use sanitary bags that are provided in bathrooms and dispose of them in your trash can.
- Eviction – The 1848 Inn is private property and a personal residence. We will not hesitate to evict any guest that is disruptive and/or destructive to other guests, to 1848 property or the 1848 business. Evicted guests will receive no refund and will face the potential liability to reimburse the 1848 for any lost revenue or damages incurred.
- Towels- Please do not use them to wipe down or clean your motorcycles or any other vehicle. We have plenty of rags in the office- Just ask.
